INTRODUCTION:
Multicast congestion protocol is the protocol that is used to implement the congestion control scheme in a multicast network. When packets are transmitted across nodes and if a particular nodes receives several packets simultaneously then they are stored in a queue and then its transmitted. But if the queue is full then the incoming packets are lost forever. Thus the reliability of data sent is lost in such networks. Thus we implement congestion control mechanisms to overcome such problems. In congestion control schemes when we find the network is congested that is if the packets are unable to move through the path then we optimize the packet size the size of the network path etc to prevent the loss.

FUTURE ENHANCEMENTS:
The future enhancements are nothing but the developments of our current project or in other words this can be stated as our dream to implement in near future if we get a chance.
Ø We have implemented multicast congestion control for unirate inputs we can enhance this network applying it for multirate inputs
Ø Here we have a slight delay associated with each transition of data. Even this delay can further be reduced.
Ø The algorithm was implemented for LAN network. Further improvements can be made such that it is applicable for a wide area network.
